After following the progress of this radio for some months, i decided it was something i had to have. I took into consideration what i have on the building bench both now and in the not too distant future, a new radio with even more functions and channels was required. Up until a few weeks ago i was using my trusty JR3810 computer radio.
Rory was most helpful in answering my seemingly endless barrage of questions about the 9XII and in the end i was allowed to hold one in my hands...ohh what a moment that was!!.
Needless to say that i am now the proud new owner of a JR PCM 9XII radio.
The programming of this radio follows JR's tradition of keeping the programming side of things relatively easy. Having owned a JR radio for some time now it didn't take long to understand the 9XII's pattern of programming. Everything is there for you to make flying your favourite model easier, no matter how complex it is, or however many servos it has. There are some great innovations with this radio like dual channel capability. This is where you can assign any of the secondary channels to any of the primary channels using separate servos. Great for things like dual elevators etc.
The instruction manual is very easy to follow and understand as well. Any questions you may have can be quickly answered using this manual.
All in all a great radio for the price, and it would be fair to say that this radio will meet all your R/C aircraft requirements either fixed wing or rotary wing both now and in the distant future. I'm happy with my investment and you will be too.
Cheers
Craig
